The SKIN School Model Program allows individuals to receive aesthetic treatments at a reduced cost while helping licensed medical professionals gain hands-on training.
All treatments take place in a clinical training environment at SKIN Clinics Calgary and are performed by licensed nurses and medical professionals completing advanced aesthetic education.

What is The SKIN School?

Can I sign up as a model for student training?
Yes! We offer a Student Model Program, where you can receive injectable treatments at a reduced cost. As a model, you must:
- Consent to being injected by a student, under the supervision of medical professionals
- Agree to photos and videos for marketing purposes
- Submit a $100 deposit, which goes toward the cost of your treatment
What is the sitting fee?
The sitting fee for The Aesthetic Blueprint: Fundamentals of Injectables Course is $200 per day. The sitting fee for our Advanced Courses is $300 per day. The $100 deposit due at sign up will go towards the cost of your sitting fee. If you’re not selected as a model, your deposit will be refunded to you after the duration of the course.
What product will models be injected with?
We use a curated selection of elite injectable products known for their high efficacy and safety profile. Depending on the course you are modelling for and your preference will determine the type of injectable treatment. This can include Neuromodulators, Dermal Filler or Biostimulators. Our goal is to ensure natural-looking results while maintaining the highest standards of care.
Are there things I should avoid before my appointment?
Please avoid alcohol 24 hours before your appointment, caffeine the day of your appointment, Aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
Who can apply to be a model?
Anyone can apply to be a model but please note all models must be over 18 years old and not pregnant or breastfeeding.
Where is my appointment held?
The training takes place at SKIN Clinics in Calgary, Alberta (3007 14 ST SW #301 Calgary, AB T2T 3V6). Students are responsible for their own travel and accommodations.
How do I know my model application has been accepted?
Our team will review and select models based on anatomy, model preferences, availability and willingness to have multiple areas injected. Selected models will be contacted 2 weeks prior to the course date with an appointment time. All applicants who were not selected will have their deposit refunded after the duration of the course.
