Model Terms & Condition

By applying for or participating in The SKIN School Student Model Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions.

Purpose of the Model Program

The SKIN School Model Program allows licensed medical professionals participating in training programs to gain hands-on experience performing aesthetic procedures under the direct supervision of experienced medical professionals.

Treatments performed within the program are part of a teaching environment, and models acknowledge that procedures may be performed by students with limited or no prior injection experience, under the supervision of a qualified instructor.

To participate as a model, you must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Be able to provide informed consent
  • Not be pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Be medically suitable for treatment as determined by the supervising medical professional

The SKIN School reserves the right to decline or postpone treatment if it is determined that a procedure is not medically appropriate or safe. Please note that not all applications are accepted. Accepted models will be contacted 2 weeks prior to the course with an appointment date and time. All applicants that are not accepted will have their deposits refunded.

Participation in the model program requires:

  • $200 sitting fee per day (for Fundamentals Course) $300 sitting fee per day (for Advanced courses)
  • $100 deposit required upon registration

The deposit will be applied toward the treatment cost.

Remaining balances must be paid at the time of treatment.
All services rendered are charged directly to the model, and the model is personally responsible for payment.
Fees are subject to change without notice.

Due to the limited number of training model spots available, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule a model appointment.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
  • No-shows will forfeit their deposit and may be ineligible for future participation in the model program.

The SKIN School reserves the right to cancel or reschedule model appointments due to course changes, instructor availability, or student training needs.

To minimize the risk of bruising and ensure the best treatment conditions, models are asked to avoid the following:

  • Alcohol for 24 hours before treatment
  • Caffeine on the day of treatment
  • Aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) unless medically required

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in treatment being postponed or modified at the discretion of the supervising medical professional.

Models acknowledge that treatments take place in an educational setting and may involve:

  • Observation by students
  • Discussion of treatment techniques
  • Longer appointment times than typical clinical treatments

Students may review anatomy, injection techniques, and treatment planning during the procedure.

All aesthetic treatments involve potential risks, side effects, and complications.
While procedures are supervised by licensed medical professionals, risks may include but are not limited to:

  • Swelling
  • Bruising
  • Redness
  • Tenderness
